Holiday Gift Guide for Her

Holiday Gift guide for her

Shopping for gifts around this time of year can either be stressful or even more stressful. Am I right?

What I find works best is to do some research before braving the malls. Having an idea isn’t enough anymore, there isn’t much time to just window shop or browse. You’ve got to get there to get stuff done. Looking online can be super helpful and will give you an idea of the cost of gifts and will allow you to see whats available. Another tip is to write down who you’re shopping for you what you’re planning on getting them. Have a back up gift planned out as well, you never know what the stores have or don’t in stock. Better safe than sorry!

Here are some ideas of what to get your sisters, mothers, friends, girl friends etc! Girls aren’t thaaat hard to shop for (ha ha). But if you feel like you’re on the struggle bus for the gift department here are some gifts that I’m confident most girls would love to receive this year!!

SEPHORA Holiday gift sets are such a good choice because you’re able to split up the whole set and distribute it between multiple friends! This Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip is perfect because there’s 17 different lip items ranging from gloss to liners. It allows whoever is recieveing this gift to try out new lip products or experiment with different colors. It’s a $192 value but you’re getting it for $59.00. I know sixty bucks is a little steep, but keep in mind that this could be a gift for seventeen different girls!

Too faced Natural Eye Neutral Eye Shadow Collection is a great universal eye shadow palette! You could find this at SEPHORA also. It retails for $36.00 and it’s perfect for beginners! You’re also able to create an easy day time look or a sultry night time look.

– you can find those both here:

Mini Candles/Wallflowers– Candles are pretty universal for anyone, they’re perfect for lighting while in the bath to really unwind after a long day. Try picking scents that you know the person will enjoy. You can never go wrong with a sweet peppermint or a masculine winter scent! If who you’re buying for lives in a place where candles aren’t allowed such as a college dorm, then more than likely candles are a no go. But the wall flowers are perfect because they make your room smell amazing!

Bath & Body Works is always having great sales and deals this time of the year! You can find these scents here:

Sweats– I know every girl wants to come home take off their tight jeans and throw on some baggy sweats. Now if you have a boyfriend you can usually just take his. But girls who are single still want those warm and comfy pants, Dick’s Sporting Goods always has a good variety to pick from. The current trend now is the Jogger sweats. They’re tight at the ankle and are the perfect feel around the waist and thighs. These are great because they’re not only bum day sweats but they can be dressed up with a cute cardigan!

Boot Socks– These are awesome for any ladies who are wearing tall boots or even combat boots. They not only keep you warm but add a little something to your outfit! H&M has a bunch of inexpensive one’s to chose from as well as Forever 21. I found these for $9.95 at H$M at:

Moccasins– These are great to throw on to go get the mail or to keep your tootsie’s warm! Who doesn’t want another pair of mocs? I picked these from Minnetonka because they’re durable as well as cozy.

Coffee or Tea mugs– These are so super cute and personal! Coffee or tea is essential and we all need our caffeine fix. The Monogram Mugs from Anthropologie are great because of the letter, it shows you really picked out something for that person. Also I love to stuff little goodies inside them!

Headbands, hair ties or bobby pins– An explanation isn’t even required! EVERY girl needs these.

Books– I love receiving books as a gift because it means so much. That person picked up a book and thought “you know I really think X person would enjoy this.” There is no age limit on books, keep that in mind. You don’t only have to shop in the young adult section for your teen, or for someone who is no longer a young adult. Reading is for everyone! Here are some of my favorite books that I think any age could relate to! (contemporary romance & dystopians)

John Green Box Set

If I stay by Gayle Forman

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (LOVE)

Divergent, Insurgent, and Allegiant by Veronica Roth (Insurgent is coming to theaters in March *claps excitedly*)

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner

See I told you women were easy! Happy shopping and Happy Holidays!

One last thing! Try to be patient with the retail workers this year, they are just as frazzled and flustered as you are so be kind to them!
