Most Anticipated YA books of 2015

These are the best books coming in 2015 and I’m sure the list will grow as the year goes on. Sometimes it can get a little crazy keeping up with series and what books are to come.  So I hope this helps or that you can find a new series to dive into!(Some of the later release dates may change according to goodreads because that’s usually how it goes. Hopefully they get moved up instead of pushed back!)

Books that are available for pre-order can be accessed by clicking on the bolded book title.

Reborn by Jennifer Rush. Release date: January 6th. This is the third book in the Altered series. The previous two books have been quick paced and a relatively easy read. They reminded me quite a bit of the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson, so if you liked those then you’ll enjoy these. I flew these books and loved them and cannot wait for this book.

dead of winter

Dead of Winter by Kresley Cole. Release date: January 6th. The third book in the Arcana Chronicle series. This is an end-of-the-world series that is written unlike any other. I loved that it had a lot of history, an interesting love triangle (for once) and kept me engrossed throughout the whole book. The romance scenes are quite um.. graphic. Definitely for mature audiences, borderline New Adult genre. Still, it’s a great story and I can’t wait to pick up on the GIANT cliff hanger Cole left us on.

i was here

I Was Here by Gayle Forman. Release date: January 27th. Gayle Forman is one of my favorite authors, so I’m so excited to be diving into another one of her amazing stories. Barnes&Nobel says: “I Was Here is Gayle Forman at her finest, a taut, emotional, and ultimately redemptive story about redefining the meaning of family and finding a way to move forward even in the face of unspeakable loss.”

the ruby circleThe Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead. Release date: February 10th. Sadly this is the final book to the amazing Bloodlines series. This series is a spin-off from the Vampire Academy series which is also amazing. I love love love these books and the author so much. I highly recommend reading these books. This is probably the book I’m most excited to read, I just want to dive back into the Bloodlines world.

miss mayhem

Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins. Release date: April 7th. This is the second book to Rebel Belle. Which was a very cute read and light read. The strong female lead is what appealed to me most in this book. I enjoyed it and I’m excited to see what else is to come in this series.

the death codeThe Death Code by Lindsay Cummings. Release date: April 21st. The second book in the Murder Complex series. When I read the first book I honestly wasn’t expecting to like it all but I ended up falling in love with it. Today it’s hard to create a new dystopian world that isn’t the same as every other one. But Cummings really succeeded at creating something new and exciting. It’s super action packed and fast-paced and I know this book is going to be just as amazing as the last.

the heirThe Heir by Kiera Cass. Release date: May 5th. The fourth book to the Selection series which is one of my favorite series. It’s a dystopian series with a twist; usually compared to the show The Bachelor but with a futuristic monarch world. The setting is really amazing. Sometimes reading about the main character fighting constantly or living on the streets can get repetitive. This series is all dresses and fancy living that’s refreshing to read after the heaviness of all the fighting. I wouldn’t say its light read because there’s quite a bit of depth and mystery to it but it is so good. I’m super excited to read more into this series.

End of Days by Susan Ee. Release date: May 12th. Third book in Penryn and the End of Days series. I loved these books and I wished they were longer. I really loved the voice of  the main character. She’s snarky while managing to be a total BA. This series is about fallen angels and falling in love with them during a different type of apocalypse. This is probably the second book I’m most excited for. (Sadly no cover art yet.)

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han. Release date: June 2nd. The second book to All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, which so happens to be one of my favorite books. I loved this book so much and cannot wait to read this. The first book was a really light read but makes you evaluate your own love life (or lack of). I recommend this to anyone, it is so good. (No cover art yet.)

crashCrash by Eve Silver. Release date: June 9th. Third book the Game series and I’m more than ready to jump back into this world. If you’re a fan of aliens and BA female leads then this is your book. I loved the first two books, and the love interest in it is so well written. The characters in the book compare their lives to a video game so if that sounds cool then you should check it out.

Every Last Breath by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Release date: July 2015. This is the final book in the Dark Elements series. Which has been one of my favorites. Its about angels and demons and gargoyles all living the real world. Books like these are usually my favorite; where the magic or sci-fi elements exists in the real world. The world isn’t falling apart around them and I really enjoy that. This author really knows how to nail a good romance so if you looking for paranormal romances, then this is the best. It is for more mature audiences, but not as graphic as the books by Kresley Cole. Definitely worth a read, I love every book Armentrout writes.

Untitled (Starbound #3) by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner. Release date: December. This is by far my favorite series, but I’m trying not to get too excited because the book is a whole year away. The first book of this series is These Broken Stars and you should read this ASAP. It’s in my top ten favorite books, that’s how much I love it. It’s like a space version of the Titanic, except like thirty thousand times better. Just read and know that it is amazing.

That’s all I’ve got for now! I hope you saved your Christmas money this year, happy reading.
