Outfit Details

Hey y’all! I hope everyone has been having a good winter so far. Ohio needs to get it together though, because I am not having this 60 degree weather. I want snow. Anyways, I wanted to give y’all some holiday party outfit ideas for those attending any parties. I’ve included a variety of options and styles so hopefully everyone can enjoy. Click the link in the caption to find out where everything is from!

Look #1: Glitter midi dress with lace-up heels. I never thought I would be advocating for something so glittery, but I am loving the trend. It adds a funky yet classy twist to this dress. I picked a neutral faux fur coat to add some texture to this look and paired it with a berry red lip.

Look #2: Little Black Dress. You can never go wrong with a little black dress in my opinion. They also give you a lot of room to accessorize. I picked a furry cardigan for warmth and to add a little something to the look. The over-the-knee boots add a bad ass vibe to the simple and sweet silhouette of the dress. The classic matte red lip really pulls this whole look together.

Look #3: Glitter two-piece. Again, I couldn’t help myself with the glitter. It’s so festive and chic. The ankle strap shoe with a chunky heel makes this look more mature and modern. I paired this with a matte light nude lip to ground this look and to keep the focus on the two-piece set.

Look #4: Glittery Playsuit. I am obsessed with this outfit. I love that it has a subtle 70’s vibe to it, yet it’s still very modern. I paired it with ankle booties that have some fringe to tie into that 70’s feel. I added a deep bold lip and graphic clutch for a bad ass feel.

Look #5: Smart and casual. For those of us who aren’t going anywhere that requires heels, this one is for you. I love the longer shirt poking out underneath the sweater. The long shirt in general is a fairly new trend so don’t be afraid to try it out. Leaving the collar of the shirt tucked in the sweater prevents this from feeling too “preppy”. I added cigarette pants which is also a newer trend in the U.S., although a simple black pair of jeans would look cute as well. I picked these loafers because I love the way they look with the cigarette pants. Lastly, I finished this off with a neutral liquid lipstick that will last all night long.

I hope y’all enjoyed and Happy Holidays!
xo- Heidi
