Hey y’all! I wanted to throw together some outfit inspo for summer 2016. I tried to create different looks so everyone can relate and gain something from these sets. I incorporated pastels, and tried to incorporate more colors in general, but I couldn’t resist from black. These sets allowed me to get creative with summer looks, so I really hope y’all enjoy!
Look one: I really wanted to experiment with a lighter color palette to keep this look fresh. Mom jeans have been in for awhile now, so I added the pink off the shoulder bardot blouse to add some femininity to the look. I also love pairing a cohesive pastel palette together.
Look two: I went for more of an athleisure vibe because I’m loving that trend. I also built the look around this awesome military green jacket. Which will be especially great for those chilly summer nights. Overall, this look is pretty relaxed and effortless.
Look three: I wanted to throw together a look that spices up an average summer sundress. Personally, I much prefer dresses than skirts. Dresses are easy to throw on and keep you cool easier. I also the vibe that the slightly flared sleeves give, yet the pattern keeps the look grounded.
Look four: This is my personal favorite. I am more than happy with the way this look came together. Again with the cohesive pastel palette, you can’t really go wrong with it. I loved the challenge that came with styling a top like this. Usually, we just picture a plaid shirt, jean shorts, and boots, ya know your typical summer country girl outfit. But I really wanted to modernize the look with some birks, an all white ball cap, and a white backpack.
Thanks for reading y’all! Enjoy your summer!
